Located in the ‘Elite’ section of Pavilion Mall, Barbeque Nation cement its place as one of the best buffet restaurants in KL serving yummy Indian food.

Originally from India, this place is quite spacious with a live grilling counter on each table (Yes, that’s right!) which adds to its unique experience.

The buffet spread includes a wide range of items. From starters like kebabs and tandoors with dipping sauces to main course items like butter naans, mutton biryani, paneer tikka masala and aloo gobi.

Established in 2016, Tastebud has surprisingly gained some good reputation through word of mouth.

They serve yummy food at a very reasonable price. Their bestseller is the Chicken Tandoori.

Chicken thighs are marinated in yogurt, chilli, garlic and garam masala, and then chargrilled. You can pair this with some fluffy garlic naan. Heavenly! 🤤🤤

We also recommend their Vegetarian biryani and Mint lemon juice. The best part is that the portions are generous.

The staff are really friendly and the service pretty fast. However, weekends are usually very busy.

Wrap it up by trying their Gajar ka halwa– a dessert made with carrot, condensed milk and dry fruits.

They have an extensive menu and you can enjoy a range of starters, biryanis, curries and Indian breads.

My personal favourite is their Haleem– a rich stew made with meat, lentils and a whole lot of spices.

This restaurant with an unusual name is famous for serving delicious Kerala cuisine. FYI Kerala is a coastal state in the southern region of India.

According to their official website, Kayra’s recipes are mostly handed down through the generations and are pure and authentic.

From starters like Grilled squid and Prawn kerayoli to main course items like Fish moilee and Mutton kantari, every dish is well presented and flavourful.

Our recommendation is the Avial, which is a mixed vegetable stew with coconut and yogurt.

Another bestseller is their Prawn ulartiyath. Its cooked with caramelized onions, coconut and special Kerala spices. Droooool !

They have different types of bread like Idiyappam, chapathis and appam that tastes great with the curries and roasts.

Parking can be little difficult especially on weekends as Brickfields get very crowded.

The Banana Leaf Corner is a pure South Indian vegetarian and non vegetarian home cooked food. It is served like a buffet style as shown in the picture above.
