Hailing from Japan, MINISO has established itself as a well-known novelty store globally. Besides Marvel. MINISO has also teamed up with Disney, featuring characters such as Mickey and Minnie, Toys Story, and Disney Princesses.

Miniso recently opened a new branch at Setia City Mall and here are some of its highlights.

The branch at Setia City Mall is the largest in SouthEast Asia and they also seek to have a new change of products every few months.

Another concept store hailing from Japan, Yubiso shares a lot of similarities with Miniso. YUBISO’s aim is to be consumers’ best friend by offering its product with affordable prices.

Famously, or rather, infamously (depending on how you see it) known as the store that you go in with only a single item in mind but leave with your hands full. DAISO is home to everything you can think of. 

Most items found in DAISO are reasonably priced at only RM5.90, making it one of Malaysian’s favourite departmental stores. There are also some items that are priced slightly higher but it’s because of the make of the product which promises a higher quality.

4. MUJI

Established in 1980, Muji has over 7,000 products under its name now. MUJI is well-known for its travel essentials, stationeries and organizers. If you like minimalistic designs, you should definitely check them out.

For fans of personalization, you can do that at MUJI. Simply select your item to be personalized, pick a design and/or letters, then hand it over to a personnel in charge and that’s it!
