If you enjoy simple, fresh, and healthy Indian vegetarian food, then Ganga Café is the place for you. Their food contains no MSG, colouring or preservatives.
The place isn’t too big but is always filled with people, especially on the weekends.
Their highlight is the Sunday all-you-can-eat buffet. They have a variety of starters like soups, fried pakodas (nuggets), dhoklas and tikkis.
The main course includes rice, delicious dals, kadhi, veggies and bite sized chapattis.
Don’t forget to order their bestselling ‘Pranic Juice’ made with fresh mint, ginger, black salt and roasted cumin.

Being one of the best vegan Tex-Mex restaurant in KL, Sala is an affordable choice for the locals!
They serve some lip-smacking tacos, burritos and salads.
Sala’s ‘nourish bowls’ are the popular choice and makes for a very filling and tasty meal.
You can customize your own bowl by selecting a base, mains, some proteins and carbs, topped with nuts and fruits.
Next up, how about a delicious meat-less burger?
Sala’s Bagel Burger is made of mushroom asada, pico de gallo, sour cream and tomato chipotle salsa. Writing this makes me craving for their burger already!

3. Simple Life Healthy Vegetarian Restaurant @Sunway Putra Mall
On the days you want to eat clean and simple, just head to Simple Life for an organic and healthy meal. They are a chain of vegetarian restaurant serving some yummy Asian food.
If you fancy ramen, then do try their veggie dumpling miso soup with brown rice ramen.
We also recommend trying their vegetarian Nasi Lemak.
This drool worthy multi-grain nasi lemak is simply outstanding. The fragrant coconutty rice is served with pumpkin rending, homemade carrot sambal, crunchy peanuts, acar and crackers. The fried egg on top is optional.

4. The Good Co @Bangsar
Photos of amazing smoothie bowls and colourful muesli jars are always popping up on Instagram.
Now it’s your turn to try and then post on IG. Simply head to The Good Co (opposite BSC).
If you want to detox, just order their salad pot or sandwich along with a glass of cold-press juice.
Unlike many places, their sandwiches are very appetizing and the portions are generous.
You can try their ‘Daging Tarik’. It’s made with organic rye bread with a stuffing of pulled mushroom (replacing the meat), tomatoes, lettuce, coleslaw and cheddar cheese.
The Good Co don’t use refined sugar, so you can dig in for your dessert and enjoy guilt free!!

5. MTR @Brickfields
MTR 1924 is one of the most popular South Indian restaurants in India. This eatery serves the most delicious thosai/ dosas in town (yes, really).
Once you have had their crispy dosa drizzled with fresh ghee, you won’t feel like going back to other restaurants serving thosai.
The best part about MTR is that they are very consistent with their quality. Every time you visit, you know you’ll get top quality food as fresh batches of dosa/ idli batters.
A classic favourite among locals is the ‘pudi dosa’.
It’s made with rice and black gram, topped with spiced potatoes and a sprinkling of chutney powder. Take a bite and you’ll know what we mean by Heavenly 😇😇
